Christmas decorating has always been a well balanced art between the cute & borderline tacky. However, tradition does not have to equal all those glittering balls. But still haven’t we have grown to love their seasonal splendor? For example, the Czech company Glassor produces beautiful Christmas balls, ornaments and beauties for all Christmas trees. Historically, the village of Ponikla near Harrachov is an important place for the selection of Czech Christmas decorations. There are classical beads decorations made from the finest glass. Manufacturers have used similar techniques, such as small balls, since the middle of the 19th century. It is worthwhile to adhere to the tradition, but it is good to think about the current style, as evidenced by the Tritica brand. It was founded by a married couple from the Vysočina mountains who, over 30 years, traveled around local markets with their straw products. Their hand-woven ornaments are so clean and simple, to the point you will feel touched on the inside by the simplicity.

Two pair of Czech designers went on the fragile field of Christmas decorations. Their work is as cautious as a lonely swallow, but it promises that the chances of celebrating the holidays tastefully and with an idea are slowly approaching. The jewelers Zdeněk Vacek and Dan Pošta made fun of the Christmas fairy tale world as more by accident than plan. Last year, they set up a collection of adornments for their partners and friends, but it is so well done it would certainly deserve to go for sale. It combines elegance and mystery, as if they jumped right out of a fairytale land of frozen kingdom. Ice beauty.

The Rückl Glass factory is experiencing its rebirth. A beautiful novelty is the current range of Christmas decorations. Signed under it, like the rest of the collection, is Rony Plesl. The classic shape of the balls breaks the original and refined grind, which also entertains with its bold font. Unlike the previous two examples, this is a piece you can hang on a tree this year. And you will not regret it.
